Our New House

Our "new house" has Sophia calls it! We are finally settled and are very happy to have our own place. Sophia has adjusted well. She loves her new room. The apartment is a 2 bedroom but this building was built in the 1800's and although it is newly renovated, the layout is not exactly ideal. It actually worked out great because the 2nd bedroom is detached from the rest of the apartment and it acoss the hall. ( I know it sounds weird) but we put Stephen's "room" over there because I did not want Sophia in a separate area from us obviously. He has his video games and tools there and he can tinker around as if he had his own grage. It is just much nicer than a garage. And I can't hear his friends when they come over:)
We converted our large walk-in closet to a bedroom for Sophie. It is tiny but she loves it. She tells me all the time, "I love my new room mommy." Actually, everything is new to her. She talks about her new bed, toys, dolls everything. It is funny. I guess she does not recognize they are all the same things just in a different spot.
I am enjoying living right across the street from shool again. It makes getting up in the morning much easier, except for the days I have to take Sophia to daycare....those are hectic days because daycare is 20 minutes from the new house. It was only 3 minutes out of the way from the old house. Oh well, I am not complaining:)

How strange they put the second bedroom apart! That is so funny that Sophia thinks everything is new just b/c it's in a new place!! I'll need your new address, please. We're doing xmas cards this week :)
